Privacy Policy
Effective October 30, 2026
EasyLines ("we", "us") is a teleprompter app made by Jonarto. This policy explains what EasyLines collects, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising or tracking.
What stays on your phone
- Video and audio recordings. Takes are recorded and stored only on your device. We never upload them. You choose if and where to share them.
- Camera and microphone. Used only while you record a take.
- Speech recognition. "Follow my voice" uses Apple's speech recognition on your device to match what you say to your script. It only runs on devices that support on-device recognition, so your voice never leaves your device, and we do not receive this audio or its transcript.
Website launch waitlist
If you join the website waitlist, we store your email address, signup date, the page you joined from, and your agreement to receive a launch email. We use your email only to tell you when EasyLines launches. This does not create a EasyLines account or subscribe you to a newsletter.
Signups are stored with Neon in the United States. To limit automated signups, we also store a keyed hash of your IP address, rather than the raw address. We delete waitlist records within 90 days after the launch email is sent. You can ask us to remove your signup before then by emailing poxadjo@gmail.com.
What we collect if you create an account
- Account details: your email address and name, from Sign in with Apple, Google, or an emailed sign-in code. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we receive a private relay address.
- Backed-up app data: your scripts, your onboarding answers (what you make and your daily goal), and your progress (when you recorded, how long, and XP). This lets your account work on a new phone. Recordings are never included.
- Sign-in records: session information such as sign-in time, IP address and device type, kept to keep your account secure.
Google user data
- What we receive. If you choose Sign in with Google, EasyLines receives your name, email address and profile picture from your Google Account (the openid, email and profile permissions). EasyLines does not ask for access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google data.
- How we use it. Only to create your EasyLines account, sign you in, show your name in the app and contact you about your account.
- Sharing. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI or machine learning models. It is shared only with Neon, which stores accounts for us.
- Keeping and deleting it. It is kept until you delete your EasyLines account, and is deleted with it. You can also remove EasyLines's access at any time on your Google Account connections page.
- EasyLines's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can use EasyLines without an account. Your scripts, recordings and progress stay on your phone when you are signed out. Purchase information is processed by Apple and RevenueCat as described below.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. RevenueCat verifies and reports subscription activity, including the purchased plan, trial and renewal status, transaction dates, and refunds. RevenueCat receives an anonymous purchase identifier, or your EasyLines account ID when you sign in, so we can find your subscription for support. We do not send RevenueCat your name, email address, scripts or recordings. We never receive your payment card details.
Who processes data for us
- Neon (database and sign-in) stores account details and backed-up app data in the United States.
- Vercel hosts this website and the small service that completes Sign in with Apple.
- RevenueCat processes purchase records and EasyLines account IDs for subscription verification, support and subscription analytics.
- Apple and Google handle the sign-in you choose, under their own privacy policies.
Each of these providers processes data only to run EasyLines for us, under contracts that require them to protect it at least as well as this policy describes.
How long we keep it
We keep account data until you delete your account. When you delete it, your account, scripts, onboarding answers and progress are permanently removed from our systems, and any Sign in with Apple link is revoked. Sign-in records expire with their session and are deleted with your account.
Purchase records are managed separately by Apple and RevenueCat for subscriptions, support and reporting. Deleting your EasyLines account does not cancel an App Store subscription; you can cancel it in your Apple subscription settings.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account any time in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account, or see how to delete your account.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or for a correction, by emailing us.
- Turn off camera, microphone or speech access any time in iOS Settings.
Children
EasyLines is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
